High Energy Efficient Lithium Cells, Elerix Battery Original Product with LiFePO4 Technology.

Industrial lithium cell with high energy density and 160 Ah capacity, manufactured on the basis of safe LiFePO4 technology. The battery is made of high-quality materials and does not contain any toxic chemicals, which guarantees a long service life.

LiFePO4 is a very safe technology, with no spontaneous combustion, no fire and no explosion. The self-discharge rate is very low. There is no memory effect - the cells can be recharged in any state of discharge.
All ELERIX cells are thoroughly tested in Tier 1 factories before distribution, including during production and before shipping. The ELERIX brand is characterized by the high quality of its cells, which are mainly class A.

Operating instructions

  • Always charge the cells to full voltage before using them for the first time.
  • The initial charging must be carried out with a low current at max. 0.5C - i.e. 80 A for a 160 Ah cell.
  • Protect cell terminals from contamination, damage, and short circuits.
  • The cells must be monitored and protected against deep discharge and overcharging.
  • Charging and discharging must take place under supervision.

 

Initial charge
The cells are pre-charged by the manufacturer to a preservative charge (usually 30-50%). Before using the cells for the first time, they need to be charged with a low current. The first charge should not exceed 0.5 C - e.g. for a 160 Ah cell it is 80 A.
When charging multiple cells for the first time, connect them in parallel, and the charger outputs should be connected to both ends of the parallel rows of cells.

We recommend using chargers specifically made for LiFePO4 cells. The first charge and initial balancing of the entire set is an important step in achieving a long service life.
Alternatively, you can use a regulated (laboratory) power supply as a tool for initial charging.
